Self Motivation turns you away from Negativity.

There are more than 10 million cases per year in India in terms of depression in the most common age group is of teenagers and young adults (youth).

There might be several reasons responsible for this, but broadly speaking, heartbreak, loss of someone close or maybe failure in examination are the main causes for this.
People lose motivation for all of these reasons, which leads them to seek out motivational speeches and motivational videos. Although there are over 9 million motivational videos online, seeing reality is in total opposition to how most people think.
It is mainly because of the fact that it didn’t come from reasoning of your own mind, you know a lot of sensible things but the reason why you don’t apply them is because you don’t understand them. That’s the difference between knowing and understanding.
People who make motivational videos mostly know a lot of things but are only notable because of their speaking ability, most often, it is that they feel from heart or they have not experienced it but due to speaking skills and number of sensible thoughts it strikes our brain however conducting them into action or at the time of impact it becomes quite unrealistic.
So the question arises how can people be motivated at each and every point? Or how do people move away from the face of gloominess that surrounds themselves?
Firstly, each one should realize that it’s okay to be weak sad it’s okay to fail in life, and it’s okay to be broken but the only significant thing is that one should always learn how to stand up and learning from the past mistakes. Speaking on the contrary, one of the hardest lessons in life is letting go. Whether it’s guilt, anger, love, loss or betrayal. Change is never easy. We fight to hold on and we fight to let go. Be willing to learn always because life never stops teaching.
Secondly, understanding the root cause for the problem you’re facing becomes important. For example, someone’s statement for you doesn’t make you feel good that is called negativity and the solution for it can be understood clearly by the statement of Catholic monk father Thomas Keating, “ there is no commandment that says we have to be upset by the way other people treat us.
The reason we are upset is because we have an emotional program that says, “if someone is nasty to me, I cannot be happy or feel good about myself “. Instead of  reacting compulsively and retaliating, we could enjoy our freedom as human beings and refuse to be upset.”
Surround Yourself with Supportive People
As mentioned earlier there can be number of reasons for being unmotivated but there is only one reason for you to keep yourself moving forward in the direction of prosperity that is your parents, relatives, friends and goals.
Motivational or inspirational videos would give you maybe five minutes or lets say an hour full of energy but the very next moment cycle would reach initial stage. It’s because said earlier, you cannot reason those thoughts.
Therefore speaking of which, the only an ultimate solution for being motivated is to have a goal or aim of seeing your parents happy, instead of spending time with people or things that makes you sad or tries to bring you down, spend time with your mom and dad who wants to spend quality time with you who always wish the best for you, and there it is you will have your permanent positive energy.
How to detach from negativity?
In an instance what happens most often is that instead of reactively doing what we want, we proactively evaluate the situation and do what is right. Think of austerities as a detachment Boot Camp. Disconnect from ideas that limit you, open your mind to new possibilities, and, like a soldier training for battles, you will find that you are intellect gets stronger. You’ll find that you are capable of more than you ever imagined.
Visualize yourself in the other persons shoes. Acknowledge their pain and understand that it is why they are causing a pain. Understand the pain more specifically so that you can slowly let it go.
Acknowledge your own shortcomings.
Remember you can’t change the past, but taking responsibility of your role will help you understand and let go of your anger towards yourself and the other person.
Instead of absorbing pain or giving it back, if you forgive, you help defuse the pain.
Remember your parents are your biggest supporter and therefore instead of spending time on people or things that want to bring you down, spend quality time with your parents who would enhance your personality and character and indeed bring ecstasy in your life.
