June 5 is World Environment Day and Srishti Foundation’s birthday.
The Srishti Foundation had set various objectives for the protection of environment and education. According to this, apart from organizing public awareness programs, various schemes were undertaken to provide auxiliary materials to the needy during the Corona period, providing facilities including concentrator, glucometer, mask, temperature meter, sanitizer.
The launch of Srishti School in Khambhat for needy children has been an unprecedented success. More schools are planned to be set up in the coming days. Educational materials have been provided to about 350 needy children. Facilities including books, clothes, ration kits have also been provided in areas including Nadiad, Thasra, Khambhat, Tarapur.
Vinodbhai Shah, Founder Member of Srishti, has provided a kit for the families of needy children this year. In addition, useful items including bags, notebooks, uniforms will be provided to the children for the new academic year.
The Foundation organized more than 80 group meetings and seminars during the year for health awareness among the women and for the use of special sanitary pads. The team was formed by Poonamban Bhavsar, Kshmaben Joshi and distributed sanitary pads free of cost to more than 6200 sisters.
At present these sisters are given pads by volunteer sisters for a token charge of Rs. 1 Free distribution to needy sisters.
Vegetables and ration kits have been distributed to about 600 people during the Corona period by Hemal Shah and team of the organization.
Founder Shailesh Rathod who won best teacher award for year 2019 has donated his winning amount 51 thousand to this foundation.
Ration kits, masks, sanitizers were distributed by Youth Volunteer Group by Yug Rathod of Yuvatim. Tree planting, hygiene campaign was carried out by the team of youth and students.
Mukesh Rathore, an active member of the organization, provided transport facilities to the people of Chhewada villages of Bhal panth for medical assistance during the Corona period.
With the cooperation of everyone, the Foundation is moving towards more excellent services through its own works.
